NIKITA TRAINING

Top left is Nikita who came to join us at 21 months old, after the very sudden lost of Inka (top right) at only 8 years old, another dog never replaces a loss one but , and I'm not a believe in fate etc but it did seem the stars aligned to send Nikita to us.

Inka left us on Jan 31st 2023 and Nikita came home on Sun 12th Feb  both  came home of course with Rema's  say so.

The loss of Inka was devastating and remains raw

Inka was just 3 when she came to us and I think it's true to say her first three years were hard from the method of training for such a gentle girl and she had no interest to do more than the basic and so was never asked and just enjoyed her new life a life that made us happy and hers for 6 great years.

I looked on a number of websites, ones that I would never normally look at and found Nikita looking for a new home as her owners Paul and Fay felt she needed more then  they could give her, I phoned but was too late as someone else was collecting her later that day.  The next day I had a phone call asking if I was still interested as  Paul hadn't felt the people that came were the right people for Nikita. Finding her a new home was always about her happyiness than her just her leaving them. Paul and Fay thank you for trusting me with  your girl, like you love I her .

Nikita has been a star, she's keen and quick to learn and loves her training sessions to this point (May 19th 23) she is responding to 41 commands/exercises.

She and Rema enjoy the freedom of a 5 arce dog field 3 times a week, playing and training in the garden every day.

Nikita started her training the day after she came, so she has been  training at the time of the video's (16th May) for just over 13 weeks,  the only thing slowing her down is the old bloke with her!!!

Below Nikita has been training me now for 6 months now  supervised at all times by Rema (end of July 23)

The Governor .... Rema who has been a real gentleman with both girls
